Making alterations to your shared ownership home
You can decorate your home to your own taste but you'll need permission to make more significant alterations.
Applying for consent for alterations
If you want to make alterations to your shared ownership home, please complete the form on My Sage Home, telling us as much information as possible. You can upload images to support your application.
Once we've received your submission we'll get in touch and may ask for additional documentation. We may also ask you to pay a fee if this is applicable. Once you've sent us all the information we need we’ll review your request - this usually takes ten working days. Alteration requests cannot be approved if the alteration would breach the lease or land transfer restrictions. Also, please be aware that sometimes we may need to ask consent from the developer in order to assess your request which may delay our response time.
We'll then let you know whether we have accepted or rejected your request. If it’s positive we will grant consent once any fees have been paid.
