Communication and Accessibility Support

Not all customers find it easy, or even possible, to access communications and services in a single way, so they may need reasonable adjustments. Disabilities or health conditions can sometimes mean we need to change how we deliver information or services. For example, customers with visual impairments might need letters in large print, while others prefer a phone call to help explain complex information rather than receiving letters.

Some customers may require small adjustments in how we communicate with them. These might include:

Interaction and Contact Preferences

  • Ringing the bell instead of knocking
  • Using text or email instead of phone calls
  • Giving advance notice before calling
  • Allowing more time for conversations or appointments


Let us know if you have any interaction or contact preferences. We’ll always do our best to follow them so communication feels comfortable, supportive and accessible.


Printed documents

We can make any documents or letters available in different formats, including large print, easy-read, audio recordings or braille. We can also provide translation services or an interpreter. 


Recite Me

We've added tools to our website and the My Sage Home portal to make them more accessible.  

The main accessibility tool we use online is 'Recite Me', offering users more option for ease of access. From font size to coloured backgrounds. Along with these features it also has a screen reading tool and a button which translates content into over 100 languages, ensuring we can truly connect with all customers.


Recite Me can be accessed via the 'Accessibility tools' button at the top-right of the website and My Sage Home portal when viewing from a laptop. If viewing from a mobile device, the Recite Me icon can be seen at the top of the screen.
