Sage adds to its board

The new appointees, will expand the number of non-executive directors from three to six. Their cross-sector experience will help support the implementation of Sage’s customer-focussed approach and ensure the business maintains its high standards as it continues to evolve and grow.

Cindy Rampersaud, Senior Vice President at Pearson, responsible for the Business and Technology Council (BTEC) and Apprenticeships division, joins the Audit and Risk Committee. Gareth Llewellyn, currently chair of the Board Remuneration and Nominations Committee at Harwich Haven Authority, joins the Remuneration and Nomination Committee. Cedi Frederick, currently Chair of North Middlesex University NHS Hospital Trust and with a 40+ year career in the public, not-for-profit and private sectors including 25 years at CEO level in the housing association and social care sectors, joins the Customer and People Committee.

Coming out of Covid there is a strong focus from government to invest, to reverse the economic and social impact we have seen and the provision of housing is a key part of the wider infrastructure investment programme. I am excited by Sage’s growth ambitions to deliver high-quality, affordable homes across the UK - making an impact both socially but also in terms of economic growth regionally and nationally.”

Cedi Frederick said: “I am excited to be joining Sage Housing and to bring my experience in the delivery of high-quality customer facing services to the organisation.
