Sage’s foodbank collection supports Northampton families

Throughout October, colleagues at our Northampton Customer Care Centre came together to support their local community, donating food and everyday essentials to local families.

Our Sage Together colleague panel coordinated the collection as part of our Diwali programme, with colleagues getting behind the appeal throughout the month. This week, we hosted representatives from the McCarthy-Dixon Foundation and the Indian Hindu Welfare Organisation, alongside the Mayor of Northampton, as we handed over the donations collected by colleagues.

The Mayor, Cllr Mike Hallam, who has chosen the McCarthy-Dixon Foundation as his charity, and Sage Homes CEO Elizabeth Froude spoke about the shared focus of Sage and the Foundation on supporting people in the local community.

Sage operates across England and we recognise the importance of supporting the communities where our homes and colleagues are based. With cost-of-living pressures affecting families, early support can make a real difference. The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation shares that focus, providing practical support to local people when they need it.

Thank you to everyone who donated and made the collection such a success.
