Ideal Heating boiler safety notice

Ideal Heating, who have provided boilers for some of our homes, have let us know that they’ve discovered a fault with a number of Combi and System boilers which were installed between August 2022 and 7 January 2024.

A small proportion of these boilers – approximately 1 in 10,000 – could overheat and fail if an excessive volume of air becomes trapped inside.

You can find out if your boiler model could be affected by entering the serial number on the Ideal Heating website. 

Ideal Heating have confirmed that these boilers are still safe to use. You can find out more information here, including how this fault will be rectified.
